I was browsing through yahoo when I noticed an AD which recommended 5 foods to avoid in order to become thin. One of them being bananas. So to all the idiots who want to be thin at the expense of health here are some of the things you are trading off if you give up bananas. Bananas are one of the best sources of potassium (I am not going to list all the positives of this, google is your best friend for this) and Vitamin C.  As a side note they contain Pectin, enhance better absorption of calcium , promote better kidney health and really fill you up. Also, they act as an antacid. Also fruits are tastier and make you feel better than being thin ever will.

    there are so many varieties of bananas. It is a fact that some varieties do not suit some people. But no one can deny the virtues of banana- nature has been at its best in designing this fruit-whether it is the nutrients or taste-elements or packing!
